This is a page from the teachers guide of a Water Safety Resource for 3-7 year olds, Te TākaroHaumaru i te Wai. It was written by the Tokomapuna team in te reo Māori in collaboration with senior teachers and water safety experts for Water Safety New Zealand. The resource included big picture books for kids, cards, activities and games. See the whole resource (downloadable) at http://www.watersafety.org.nz/ on the Māori resources page.
A similar resource was written for 11-14 year olds.
